Clarke and Whalen were architects for this 2,600 sq.ft new build house adjacent to the Harpenden Conservation Area, on the site of a 1920's bungalow. This was a bespoke design for a retired couple which would provide them with flexible living spaces on the ground floor and an attic art studio lit by north lights. Clarke and Whalen provided a full service from briefing and feasibility sketches to contract administration. The project was completed on time and on budget.
