About Us

Our mission

The SPWA was established in early 2016 in response to increasing international concern over the mental health and wellbeing of young people. The SPWA’s core mission is to boost performance, mental health and wellbeing in school communities so that all members can live happier, healthier and more productive lives. It aims to do this by offering professional training courses, support services and helpful information to school communities and individuals who either work in schools or are interested in working in schools.

Our team

The SPWA is the brainchild of a group of people who have worked extensively in schools as coaches, counsellors, teachers and head teachers. All of these individuals are passionate about helping pupils develop in all areas of life, not just academic subjects.
